Jean Carbutt is the Assistant Director of the Leadership Program of Rockies. Ms. Carbutt, a Colorado native, recently returned home to Denver from Washington, DC. During her time in DC, she had the privilege to work for Colorado Congressman Bob Beauprez. She served as both his Scheduler and Legislative Assistant. Ms. Carbutt was responsible for trade policy for the Congressman’s Ways and Means Committee assignment as well as legislation relating to international affairs and agriculture.
Prior to her work on Capitol Hill, Ms. Carbutt was Accounting and PAC Director for The WISH List, a Republican political action committee. More recently she was the Special Assistant to the Deputy Secretary at the U.S. Department of Transportation.
Ms. Carbutt graduated cum laude with a degree in International Political Economy from Colorado College. She is happy to be back in Colorado and looks forward to enjoying the mountains and great skiing.
