Jennifer Hamann has been a professional in the political and public policy arena since 1992. Before moving to Denver, Colorado in 2003, Mrs. Hamann lived in Washington, D.C. Her political experience started in California while working with former California Governor, Pete Wilson.
She has served as the Finance Director for the Leadership Program of the Rockies since October 2004.
Mrs. Hamann graduated from Westmont Collage in Santa Barbara, California with a History and Political Science degree. She is married to Doug and has two children, Brayden (April 2003) and Gavin (May 2006).
Mrs. Hamann and her husband also co-own a number of businesses including a graphic design business, a St. Lucian business and sales life and health insurance. Mrs. Hamann also spends time marketing for a wellness center in Denver, Colorado.
Her political experience includes Citizens for a Sound Economy (now Freedom Works!), Congressman Mike Pence (IN), Congressman Brian Kerns (IN), Congressman Jim Rogan (CA), Congressman Dave Weldon (FL), Congressman Ed Pease (IN), Congressman Mark Souder (IN), Congressman Dan Burton (IN), Congressman Richard Pombo (CA), Congresswoman Sue Kelly (NY), Congressman Ric Keller (FL), Congresswoman Judy Biggert (IL), Congressman Sonny Bono (CA), Congresswoman Jo Ann Emerson (MO), Congressman Kenny Hulshof (MO), Congressman Dana Rohrabacher (CA), Congressman Steve Kuykendall (CA), Jim Cunneen for Congress, Kevin O’Connor for Congress, Mark Nielson for Congress, Jim Gilmore for Governor, Michael Huffington for U.S. Senate, Andrea Seastrand for Congress and Brook Firestone for California State Assembly.
In the 2000 elections, Mrs. Hamann worked on two of the top five Congressional Races for most money raised during the 2000 election cycle.
Mrs. Hamann is also active in Douglas County politics and runs an Education small donor committee.
