Crystal Bouziden, Assistant Director
Crystal Bouziden, LPR 2009 graduate, has served as the Assistant Director for the Leadership Program of the Rockies since January 2009.
Before joining the LPR team, Crystal worked on a number of political campaigns in Iowa, including Bush-Cheney ’04, Jim Nussle for Governor ’06, and Mitt Romney for President ‘08. Crystal’s other political experience includes assisting with constituent service work for Congressman Jerry Weller (R-IL) and Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA), legislative research assistant for Catholic Relief Services and American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP), and volunteering in Minnesota for Senator Norm Coleman during the Senate recount.
In 2008, Crystal moved to Colorado Springs to serve as the Campaign Coordinator for Jeff Crank for Congress. Starting in August 2008, she ran the Colorado Springs Victory office as the 5th Congressional District Victory Director. Crystal is involved in other political organizations like Americans for Prosperity and the Arab American Institute. She has previously volunteered for civic-oriented organizations such as the Susan G. Komen Foundation, Children’s Miracle Network, and Habitat for Humanity.
Crystal graduated from the University of Iowa with degrees in Political Science and Psychology. She has lived in Colorado since 2008 and a native to the southwest suburbs of Chicago. Crystal has also lived in Iowa, Texas, and Virginia.
