Heidi Ganahl is the CEO and founder of Camp Bow Wow, turning a lifelong passion for dogs into the largest pet care franchise in the world with more than 200 franchisees in 40 states and Canada. The Camp Bow Wow brand, now owned by VCA Inc., continues to grow rapidly along with a related charity, the Bow Wow Buddies Foundation. The foundation promotes the health of pups, and ending the overpopulation and inhumane treatment of animals worldwide.
Heidi has also launched a new nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering Moms to change the world for the better – Moms Fight Back. Its mission is to build a community of moms to tackle the tough issues our children face, and also present an “issue” report card on candidates and legislators.
Heidi is a 2013 graduate of The Leadership Program of the Rockies, and recently was elected to the CU Board of Regents as the top vote-getter in the state. She lives in Boulder with her husband, Jason Ganahl, has four children and a lovable lab, Henry.
